All meetings will be held via Zoom
going forward on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month.
Next 2 meeting dates are: April 9 and April
23, 2020
Today’s meeting was via Zoom. This
was our second virtual meeting. The group agreed to hold meetings on the 2nd
and 4th Thursday of each month going forward.
Kudos again and thank you’s to
member, Magdalena Raj for setting up the Zoom meeting using her account.
Sergeant at Arms, Bud Otto began the meeting
with the Pledge of Allegiance. Paige Kerr served as Toastmaster. Anastasia Pass
served as Table Topics Master. Her theme was leadership and she posed questions
such as: What qualities does a great leader have?: How do good leaders
inspire?; Who do you feel is a great leader and why? Anastasia also asked us each to share how the
COVID-19 situation is impacting us personally.
Crystal Reeves gave a touching and timely
speech about being creative and learning new things. She tied the topic very
effectively to the situation we all find ourselves in and inspired us to do
more. For even more inspiration, she played a few chords on her banjo for us and
renewed her commitment to learn how to play better.
Members evaluated the meeting. Most
agreed this is a very doable way to meet, though already miss our in-person
meetings!
