June 21 Meeting Recap:
Paige Kerr opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance, set the tone for the first day of summer and then reviewed the roles.  The Word of the Day was pusillanimous...good luck using that this week!  Paige then introduced the Toastmaster of the day, Una Richards, who very professionally, conducted the rest of the meeting. Ralston was the Table Topics Master and his series of questions was geared around Favorites.  One of our guests, Magdalena, won Best Table Topics for her story about her favorite pet.

The first Speaker, E Ezra, gave her 4th speech which was a tweak on her 3rd speech, also about back pain.  She very adeptly explained how prolonged sitting can cause severe back pain and then demonstrated 2 stretches and 2 muscle activation exercises that could help remediate the problem.  Ralston Medouze provided her excellent feedback. The second speaker, Crystal Reeves, gave her 5th and final speech in her advanced series.  Entitled "How Smart is Your Pet". Crystal posed as the guest speaker at a Toastmaster's dinner as she told an entertaining story about cats, dogs and the four ways to identify how smart are your pets, behind elephants and crows!  Awesome and substantive feedback was given to Crystal from her evaluator, Paige Kerr.

After Ah/Gr and Timer reports, it was announced that Crystal won Best Speaker and Ralston won Best Evaluator.  Una Richards gave her overall review and the meeting was adjourned at 8:20.

Stay sharp.  Stay cool.  See you next week!
